Karla - If you add an apple and a lime, pretty much any "juice" will be drinkable. Cucumbers and celery are very easy too. Try it! Can't wait to talk to you more about this AND the possibility of you getting your license reinstated. That would be awesome!

'Hi Jean! Sweet love - I want you and Bud to come over and I'll make you a wonderful, easy-to-drink juice. We can make a smoothie too. And I think you are right on the money when it comes to the composting. I'll talk to Rob about it this weekend. I'm sure he would love some good compost for his vegetable garden out back. I've hated wasting all the pulp from the veggies. So you've inspired me!!

You've got my attention!!!!!!!! I think Bud and I might concentrate more on the smoothies right now, just simply because they are easier for my lazy bones. Do you have a compost heap? If so the "matter" that is left after juicing is an excellent additive, it will be as good for your plants as the juice is for you! xoxoxoxoxoxo

You are so committed! I can't push myself past the carrot/ apple/ beet mixture I am used to. Cucumber is an intiguing idea...

Btw, you are totally inspiring me to get my license reinstated! I wish I had known you in school!

Hey Sheri! Tess drinks some of my concoctions, but not all. She does best with the "easier" ones like celery, cucumber, apple juice, carrot mixtures. It takes some balls to drink the big greens by themselves, but it is do-able. But I am LOVING the juicer b/c I have probably taken in more vegetables in the past 2 weeks than I have in the past 3 months! If you ever want to talk more about it, call me. 803-348-5040. Glad to see you doing so well!

Rock on! Do you make smoothies for your daughter as well? Does she like them? I'm always trying to get my kids to eat more veggies. If it comes in the form of a "milkshake" they might like it.

This is exciting! Think I'll pull out my juicer. Can't remember much about what I used before but I do remember using beets, they reallyadded a nice color and flavor. I don't remember the specific nutrients that they add but it is a fair amount of good ones!

Humm...your post is pretty convincing. Almost makes we want to go buy a juicer, but I think I'll come over and test out yours first. I'm picking up Tess from school today, so maybe she can sell me on the benefits of juicing as well.
